Garrod Farms is the perfect place to hold your special events. If a casual, rustic atmosphere is what you like, then we are right for you! Here are a few of the activites we can provide for you:

Birthday Events

Trail rides and lessons
For children 8 years old and over
Release slips need to be signed by a parent of each child who is riding

Pony Parties

For children under 8 years old

We have a wonderful, secluded picnic area – away from the rest of the barn noise and traffic which is just perfect for a party for the little ones. We recommend groups between 5-15 people.

$175 rents the area for 2 1\2 hours and the pony (with an handler) for 30 mins. (additional fee for extra ponies)
Weekends only

Girl Scouts

You can earn your "horse fan" badge here at Garrod Farms
All riders must be 8 years old or over
1 _ hours: _ hour lecture
1 hour trail ride
Between the lecture and the trail ride there is enough information that the child will be able to complete the badge (some work will need to be done in the troop)
$50 per scout
Rides up to 15 persons.
Friday afternoons or early release school days
All riders must have a Garrod Farms release slip signed by a parent, as well as the Girl Scout release

Group/Corporate Rides

Perfect for a networking day
Come for at trail ride and then wine taste afterwords!
Rides go out in groups of up to 15 (we can do multiple rides in a single day)
Weekdays, with reservations.
Group rates available

Wine Rides

Ride in the beautiful Saratoga Hills with views of the Bay Area at Garrod Farms, then stay a little longer for some wine tasting. Our winery is open 7 days a week, and as long as your ride concludes before 5:00 pm you can visit the tasting room and try our award-winning wines. SUNDAY MORNING Wine tasting ride: On the last Sunday of the month, join a special group for an hour-long trail ride, then mosey over to our winery for wine tasting and a mini buffet. $80 per person, reservations required by Saturday, call 408-867-9527. Pre payment is due at the time of the reservation.
